I need to LTB over a chip

Tonight, I made a slap up meal of macaroni cheese and chips for me, and Chinese chicken curry and chips for DH. Classy stuff.

I rarely treat myself to this, and made a slap up cheese sauce with 3 types of cheese, plenty of mustard and lots of pepper. I piled the macaroni cheese over the chips - the Luxe ones from Lidl, huge things, really good - and savoured my dinner.

DH went for seconds and finished this while I was still enjoying my plate.

As I turned away from my plate for 2 seconds, the greedy b*stard he stole my last chip. I'd been saving it as it was the best one of them all.

And he didn't even enjoy it, as it was covered in cheese sauce.

Obviously, I need to start divorce proceedings. AIBU?

Definitely ltb material that.

Ladiva1971 I suggest you try mac cheese on a baked potato. Life changing

marchonto2018 · 19/03/2018 20:04

So sorry Op Sad

Have you got any RL support?

At least you've found this out now before further damage is done.

Fekko · 19/03/2018 20:05

Has she called 101 yet?

Eveforever · 19/03/2018 20:06

Thank you, I couldn't decide what to have for dinner, you've solved that problem. Macaroni here I come!

Ryder63 · 19/03/2018 20:07

PragmaticWench · 19/03/2018 20:07

I'm not sure couples counselling is going to work, he's abusive...

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 19/03/2018 20:10

The rotten pig. He would have had a fork embedded in his hand for that in the this house.

Bluetrews25 · 19/03/2018 20:15

That was man behaviour meaning 'please cut my knackers off next time I am asleep in bed next to you'

BitOutOfPractice · 19/03/2018 20:17

You definitely need to log this with 101

mumonashoestring · 19/03/2018 20:18

You could, of course, act for the greater good and make an example of the miserable thief - I'm thinking hogtied naked in the nearest market square, covered in cheese sauce, with cauliflower florets stuffed into almost every orifice, and a chip up one nostril?

MaMisled · 19/03/2018 20:19

I know this isn't what you want to hear OP but can you ever really truly trust this man again?

marchonto2018 · 19/03/2018 20:20

Is he depressed?

DonkeyOil · 19/03/2018 20:21

Mmm. Which three cheeses did you use in your sauce? Macaroni cheese is my favourite meal of all time. Chips not so much, but I feel your pain, op.

BusySittingDown · 19/03/2018 20:22

I think you need to sell your story to Take A Break.

BitOutOfPractice · 19/03/2018 20:23

This is one thread I want the DM to pick up. That's one sad face I want to see

frasier · 19/03/2018 20:27

Sad face holding an example last chip

HolyShmoly · 19/03/2018 20:27

Can I have the recipe please? This sounds like the most amazing meal ever.
I won't take your DH though, you should rent a dungeon to throw him in for this crime.

MikeUniformMike · 19/03/2018 20:28

Is his name Balonz?

UnicornRainbowColours · 19/03/2018 20:28

Mac n cheese over chips? OMG that sounds amazing!! Making that!! Kill him and burry him in the basement.

50ShadesOfEarlGrey · 19/03/2018 20:29

I would suggest that you have a chip on your shoulder!
Or rather you DONT have a chip on your shoulder.
