For cradle cap?

My 7 month old has had what I though was cradle cap for about 3 months now. Spoken with HV and been using cream ( E45, aveeno or sudocrem). It stared off as a small patch about the size of a 5p piece but now has spread. It also comes and goes, it will be nearly gone one day and then come back much worse the next. It has also now started to bleed could it be anything else. Pic attached

If it is bleeding i would stop using the creams and get your baby seen by the gp there is medicated washes they can give you ni used tonuse olive or baby oil on my Dds put it on over night and wash off but the cream might be to irritating

Doesn't look like the cradle cap my Ds had. I too used olive oil on that, not cream.
I'd go to the GP, or ask the pharmacist.

Thanks for the replies. Could it be eczema do you think? He also gets a patch on the side of his face that comes and goes but never bleeds and doesn't flake like the patch on his head

It could be yes best to get it looked at though and I wouldn't put anything else on it till it has been checked out

Cradle cap is not usually red or sore like this. Looks very much like dermatitis/eczema, which can also be very common at that age. Where there is itching and breaking of the skin, infections like staph can also set in. Definitely worth a visit to your GP!

Thanks everyone, think I'll give the gp a ring in the morning then.
