Considering (another) degree

Options:

  1. BA in English
  2. BA in English & Theology, (I would love to do this, but wonder how useful it would be)
  3. BA in English & Computing, (more useful than the above^^)?

With a view to eventually becoming a teacher. I think secondary would be my preference, but I wouldn’t rule out primary either.

PS: I initially wrote a really detailed post, but think that this^^ covers it pretty well! Sorry, if it comes across as brusque.

An MA doesn’t have to be in the same subject as your first degree. A university would be equally interested in experience bolstering your proposed MA gained outside academia.

(It sounds as if the finances aren’t an issue for you! Most people would find the offer of government funding an unarguable factor.)

I’d spend some time volunteering in a classroom or as a TA before embarking on any further course.

If you enjoy it, go for the option that gives you he best choice of future employment. If you find you don’t like it, go for a course that could lead you to a career.
