To ask if I should be worried...?

Just caught DD, 2.5 years old, taking bites out of a Peppa pig swimming float...and eating them. Should I be worried or just expect to see them out the other end in the next day or two...? When I took the float away she resorted to picking her nose and eating it... She has had some actual food today, honestly! But seriously, should I worry about the polystyrene...?

I wouldn’t worry it’s not digestible it’ll come out later. Dd(7) also partial to eating floats 🙄

Mine eat all sorts given half the chance paper , card , bath sponges and all still alive Grin

Nearly all of the swimming floats at my swimming lessons had bite marks in. There's something very tempting about them when you're a child Confused

Ok that's reassuring, thanks! Will keep a closer eye with floats in future! Kids are odd...!

Is she eating any other odd things? my friends daughter has pica as well as other issues If not its probably just a toddler thing both of mine have had a bite of soap and I remember doing the same myself Hmm

Hmm, I haven't really noticed that she is eating anything else particularly odd but will keep an eye out for a bit. She does still lick a lot of things that aren't food but I guess that's fairly normal toddler behaviour!
