Just that. Next week, top secret visit from a top secret person to my hospital department. I am told I need to be on standby. Either it is Trump or Hunt...

I literally couldn’t think of anything to say to him. All I can do is pull a face which says ‘I’ve just eaten shit’ every time I see his face.

You have my sympathies. He came to my hospital department but on my day off thank goodness.

Ask him if he knew he'd prompted a new rhyming slang......my boss is a right Jeremy hunt

Huntinginthedark · 15/03/2018 17:26

Tell that to the chap who called him one on R4!!
I thought it was hilarious

Anniegetyourgun · 15/03/2018 17:48

The cunt “jokes” really aren’t funny; they simply show your lack of imagination

No, you're right. It is not funny. He is one nasty piece of work. Nothing funny about what he's up to. It's also an insult to cunts, which are warm and useful and make many people happy. So don't let's call him one of those.

Or you could try having a sensible, adult conversation with him, politely and briefly highlighting your concerns. Hmm

ConferencePear · 15/03/2018 17:55

I would ask him how he can justify having a sprung dance floor in his house when lots of people can't afford to feed their kids. And no, Mr Hunt I am not a communist.

ragmayo · 15/03/2018 17:56

The polite version; I'd invite him to do two long days back to back with all the workday pressures we all face

This .....

If you have the opportunity to ask a "real" question that you genuinely want an answer to ask it....don't waste the opportunity on point scoring or slinging insults....no one gains long term from that.

I'd want to know what he thinks the absolute minimum in terms of treatment and service that should be provided under the NHS.....I think that would tell us a lot more about his real aims.

"The cunt jokes are not funny".

I wasn't joking. He is a cunt

Greeper · 15/03/2018 19:00

That's helpful Stop. Good question

The thing is, it’s not just Hunt that is the problem. His party loves privatisation and sadly the U.K. voted them in.

whywhywhywhywhyyy · 15/03/2018 19:06

For such a proponent of the free market, why does he pay doctors and nurses below the world market rate?

What's a physician associate and what role are they supposed to fill?

How will social care also being part of his remit now affect patient flow in hospital? How does he intend to improve it?
