AIBU to consider not being a bridesmaid because I'm being a twatty superstitious old batshit crazy woman??? That would one day like to be a bride.

4 times a bridesmaid before I met DH, once since. Technically I suppose the last one was MOH but as two of us were married the bride just put us all as bridesmaids. Feasible I’ll be one again at some point if other good friends get married before we’re all too old to carry off the word “maid”...

I've been with DH 20 years, married 8.

I was a bridesmaid 4 times before I got married, wasn't worried at all as DH came to 2 of them with me.

My sister has been a bridesmaid at least five times, maybe six. She has made this joke a time or two, back in her single days. She currently hasn't been a bride yet, but she is engaged hopefully I haven't jinxed her now

I've been a bridesmaid 7 times... I can only remember who for by thinking of the dresses I wore! Would have been 8 but I have birth 3 weeks prior to one wedding so decided not to do it. I'll never actually get married though because of the curse
