...to think Yodel are absolute shite

Waited in for a delivery. Looked at the Tracker, apparently they tried to deliver it at 10:51. Both dh and I were in, chatting in the kitchen, windows overlook the front, loads of room in front, parking spaces free; we were there from 10:30 to past 12. We would have seen anyone coming to the door, we would have seen the van parking or trying to park.

I got onto the online Chat person and said all this. According to their site the delivery was now due to be made tomorrow, which is not convenient, so she arranged for the driver to return to me today.

I checked the tracking and it had changed from 'Tomorrow' to 'Today' so I was satisfied, said thanks, and we finished our online conversation.

So I have waited in for it all day, and now their site says it's back at the depot. Miles away. No idea when it'll come.

I am so annoyed. i could have gone out in the sunshine with dh this afternoon.

ForAlltheSaints, agree. They should never have sold the parcel delivery side of RM. Blair did a load of dreadful things, and this is a small one compared to some.

Having said that Jux I am amazed, parcel despatched Friday afternoon (yesterday) Yodel delivered this afternoon, driver said was trying to get ahead of himself as he wanted a bit of time off on Monday afternoon. Have to say the current 2 local Yodel drivers are pretty good, can't say the same for Hermes, my Hermes delivery that was 'delivered' on Thursday still is not here.

The company I work for used Yodel for a very short time. It was a nightmare. Sooooo many complaints and it was impossible for us to get any info for customers when they called us. We very quickly went back to our original couriers who we have very little trouble with. I cannot begin to describe how awful they were.

I waited in for a Yodel package, it was the afternoon and tracker said 1 before me. I then get an email saying an attempted delivery head been made and a card left. You can’t get through to anyone on their paid phone line ( automated and hangs up) and when I got through to online chat was told they couldn’t call the driver as they don’t have the contact details. I would have to wait until the next day. They are such an appalling company. They really don’t care they have inconvenienced you and have wasted your time.
