Childminder leaving kids in car

There is a childminder who drops her own child off in the morning at my ds school and leaves the rest of the kids in her car parked on the road, in this car can be children of varying ages but also includes her own very young baby. I understand it is very very rushed and stressful doing the school run as I do it myself with my other two in tow, but I would not even think of leaving my two in the car while I drop ds off. The child she drops off is in ds's class.
I have seen her doing this most mornings for a while now, not just a one off. Is this considered OK to do? I know I would not be happy my child being left in a car on the road out of sight even for a few mins.
Aibu to think this is not right?

I would be livid if my childminder was doing this.

You need to film it

That's horrendous - what if the car catches fire?

Seriously when has that ever happened?
I really wouldnt care, its a few minutes. My children normally go outside and get in the car while im still getting ready to leave, the car as never just caught on fire.
The way cars drive around my DC's school, It would be safer to leave them in there.

Ofsted would disapprove. As others said the mindees need to be in sight or sound

How long is the cm away? Does she literally walk child to gates so near the car or go into school /playground

I looked after a child once, reception age. His mum had left him in the car for a couple of minutes. He got out, road side and was hit by a car.

I wouldn’t do it, and would be furious if my childminder was doing it.

It really annoys me when people say 'It's more risky driving to school'. So what? There's something more risky that they could be exposed to so let's not worry about It? The kids could get out of the car into the road, let the handbrake off, get snatched by someone, start fighting, whack the baby - ANYTHING. They are meant to be supervised for just that reason. Being able to see your children in the car while you pay for petrol isn't even close to the same thing.

I’m reading this as 4 children. Twonreception age including the CMm

Nope she shouldn't be doing it. I do the reverse - kick my own kids out and stay by the car with the mindees while I watch them walk in. They're junior school age and I can see them walk in through the gate from where I'm parked. It is a pain unstrapping everyone but it sounds unavoidable in her case and she's taking a very silly risk
