To tell DH I want a third baby?

To cut a long story short I've had two assisted births, second ending in emergency c section and I've been told a third would automatically be a c section. My DH openly would like another, so would I but I'm afraid. I don't want admit how broody I am to him because I know he'll talk me round. How bad are planned c sections? I'll be 31, other dc school age. Financially sound, not quite enough space but easily remedied. It's literally the c section worries

They recommend ELCS because you had one previously. You can choose to have a vaginal birth if you wish. Just discuss risks and benefits with HV if you get pregnant.
Either way, I wouldn't let it put you off having another child if that is what you want.

I'd definitely want a c section as I have a lot of scarring ahem elsewhere from my first delivery, I'm more scared of that! I can't see my c section scar . I suppose I feel i got off lightly and I'm worried I wouldn't a second time

I've had two ELCS, the only difficulty this time was taking it easy during recovery with a 3 year old on the scene. I think the scar will be slightly more 'solid' this time but not bad at all.

If you want another baby I would say the c section is way down the list of stuff you should be thinking about Wink

Glad I've made someone laugh today Wink It's hard isn't it bear, my dc1 was small with my first and toddler nappy changes were hard! Hmmm all very interesting. If I wait 6 months or so I'd be in a better position still financially so I may broach the subject closer to then, as I'd be able to afford a full year off. Thing is my DH would be very very keen so if I say anything now he'd want to now, he's loved having babies!
