To recommend a really lovely restaurant that ideally has a good variety of vegetarian dishes.. Are there any other nice things to do in the area that you can recommend? It’s for my (plane mad) Dads 60th Birthday. Really want to treat him as he’s had a very tough year.

Are you looking for lunch or dinner? Alimentum in Cambridge is a steal at £35 for three courses at lunchtime (it's twice that for a three course dinner). There will only be one veggie option for starter and one for main but the food is superb. Also, I was in there a couple of weeks ago and got chatting to the maitre d' who said they're looking to expand the veggie options, and they were really eager for feedback on a new veggie item on the menu, so it if you're a party of veggies it might be worth having a chat.
