To get weepy at others birth announcements?

Very selfishly, still wanting another DC even though I have two very lovely DC already- ages 7 &4.

Got weepy this morning seeing a video birth announcement on Instagram, and harbouring quite jealous feelings when I see others going on to have three (I try not to let it show of course).

I'm 43 this year, and it just isn't happening.

Go on, tell me IBU Sad

Yes, it was their announcement. I genuinely feel pleased for them- how wonderful. Just seems to be a spate of third pregnancies and I kick myself that we didn't start sooner trying to have our kids...

The Fletchers seem to think no one has ever had a baby of children ever before.
I find their over the top announcement ridiculous. Along with my cousin who had a baby shower where everyone had to write wishes to the baby and they were attached to pink helium balloons and released at sunset. I mean ffs. Obviously having a baby is very interesting when it is you having it but is anyone else all that interested? I highly doubt it.

Anyway, sorry. Yanbu to feel how you feel. It's instinct.
