I once a threw a pen to my mate who was lying on the pen , he didn't catch it properly and it stabbed him and caused a cut on his hand.

For some inexplicable reason when me and my brother were abou 8 and 6 respectively we played this game when we'd stand on the top of the picnic bench and throw garden toys at each other to try and dodge. I think we were trying to replicate a game on gladiators Hmm

Anyway I threw a cricket bat and he wasn't paying attention, I shouted duck and he responded with 'where?!' before the cricket bat smacked him in the forehead. Tonnes of blood, had to get it glued at A&E and my Dad thought I done it on purpose and locked me in my room after smacking me Sad I didn't! My brother still has a scar now though 🙈

I once kicked a child in the face Blush In my defence it was at a Les Mills beach marathon and there were approximately 300 people doing Body Combat. I was at the back and as I did a back kick I felt my foot connect with something; turned round to see a girl of about eight clutching her face and her mother glaring at me Shock I was mortified and apologised profusely but it was a bit silly of the mum to take a short cut to the snack bar behind hundreds of people all fired up and limbs flying in every direction.

My friend still teases me about it six years later Blush

I jumped on a guy I was seeing when I was 20 and accidentally kneed him in the balls!

I do remember as a child a toddler ran out in front of me as i was sledding down a hill and I ended up kicking them in the face. Not on purpose obv i just couldnt stop or steer the sleigh!

This very nearly happened to me a couple of days go - fortunately a combination of my more-luck-than-judgement steering and his mum's quick reactions meant I missed him by about a metre.

When I was at school we were playing rounders. We were supposed to drop the bat as we ran, but I panicked and ran with it. I (genuinely) accidentally clobbered the person at 1st base with the bat as I ran past them. Luckily nobody really like the kid so I got away with it!

Hippadippadation · 04/03/2018 20:05

I was the bowler in rounders once at primary school. Bowled the ball and it hit one of my male classmates in the goolies. I didn't bowl after that!

Accidentally cut someone's lip open

Snipped the very tip of DD's thumb off cutting her nails as a baby.

Shut DS's hand in the car door. Luckily it had a big plastic flexible trim around the edge and it was that part that trapped his hand so didn't do any damage.

DS got tangled in his bike when he fell off and in my panic I just grabbed him and pulled. The chain sprocket dug into his leg in a few places drawing blood. I felt awful.

I tripped when walking across the landing, ds aged about 10 was walking across the landing in the other direction I put my hands out to stop myself which connected with the side of his face and i rammed him into the wall he had a sore nose for weeks.

NoIdeaWhatToSay · 10/03/2018 21:57

I threw a Malteser to my sister, it hit her front tooth and shattered it.

I opened my car door when I was 9 just at the time another kid was running past, I didn't think to look before I opened it and she went flying.

I hurt my hand at work, I had it checked by the nurse and she asked me to squeeze her hand to see if I could. Squeezed too hard.

My 4 week old DS head butted me in the mouth and I caught him with my teeth.

I'm a constant cause of accidents, I really wish I wasn't.

TooManyPaws · 10/03/2018 22:08

I was mucking around in their garden with my two cousins and hit him on the head with a four by four; he had a huge lump and had the go to A&E.

My ex pulled me down on the bed, I hit my head on the wooden headboard and was knocked out for a couple of seconds. All I remember is the panic on his face when I woke up.

Aprilmightmemynewname · 10/03/2018 22:12

Ran over my exh feet with my 4x4.
Can't swear it was an accident though. Wink

This still makes me shudder to remember.

Was at the park in the small town I used to live in. My dd (aged about 4 at the time) was on one swing, and another girl of a similar age was on the other swing. She was at the park with her dad. I knew the family, her mum was a popular queen bee type, wasn’t so familiar with the dad though.

I was stood behind the swings pushing both of the girls, and chatting to the dad. The swing his daughter was on had stopped, so I gave her a big shove to get her going again. Unbeknown to me, she was only loosely holding on to the chains, and as she wasn’t expecting the swing to start moving again, I actually shoved her right off the swing, and she landed with some force. She bumped her head quite badly.

Still makes me want to die thinking about it. I was only trying to be nice Blush
