just watched him on loose women promoting himself as such a decent guy- just not sure if this is genuine? has he always been so non racist/sexist/pro women etc? or just saying what he thinks people want to hear?

Second. It’s all a front. Anything he said, doesn’t sound genuine and I’m not even going to mention his previous dealings with the law. Genuine? Lolz

MissionItsPossible · 28/02/2018 14:31

I know he's seen as a divisive and unpleasant character but I find myself agreeing with him most of the time and he actually is on the side that I see on here.

^^ Above doesn't really make sense. What I mean is, the topics that most people on here agrees with, he does too. I saw Munroe Bergdorf complaining that he was bullying on Good Morning Britain. He didn't bully, he gave Munroe a good talking to, tore into them and said Munroe was ridiculous and racist.

And whether it is true or not, I don't know, but yes, he has said he is a feminist many times on GMB.

sirlee66 · 28/02/2018 14:34

I like Piers Morgan! I watch GMB as I get ready for work and he always asks the difficult questions and won't stop till he gets an adequate answer.

I find myself agreeing to a lot of points he makes on there.

Sparklingbrook · 28/02/2018 14:36

I like him on GMB. He asks the questions nobody else wants to. he's entertaining and I also agree wuth him a lot.

upsideup · 28/02/2018 14:38

I quite like him, hes upfront. In real life you dont agree with peoples actions and opinions 100% of the time, its just how it is. People also need to be given the opportunity to grow their opinions and learn from mistakes.

Prettylovely · 28/02/2018 14:39

I like him, and I agree with him alot.

CadyHeron · 28/02/2018 14:39

Another Piers Morgan fan here. Grin
As someone said, goes for it in interviews on morning telly and asks the difficult questions and won't give them an easy time.
I find myself agreeing with him a lot. He does need to stop talking over Susannah Reid so much though, if I was sat next to him I'd be wanting to give him a slap if he did that to me lol

susiebee61 · 28/02/2018 14:46

I also think he's very watchable, but just question the company he keeps- eg Donald trump?! I also think he has boosted Suzannah Reid's profile no end, when he was off last week GMB was just dire!

I haven't seen him on TV as I don't watch much in the day but from what I've read online he seems to have a mad obsession with Kim Kardashian. Is this true or am I putting 2+2 together and coming out with 5? Confused

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 28/02/2018 14:48

He grates on my nerves.

MissionItsPossible · 28/02/2018 14:51

I hate when politicians appear on GMB on a Thursday or Friday because they get away with a Piers interview and get the softly softly approach by Ben shepherd. I’ve noticed, with interest, a few of the regulars ONLY appear on a Thursday or Friday. Funny that...

ReggaetonLente · 28/02/2018 14:56

He says things like ‘feminazi’ and ‘all lives matter’ and ‘snowflake’. It’s irritating and implies a certain lack of critical thinking.

I’m sure he’s very bright, but he does a great job of appealing to society’s less than savoury basic urges, and I don’t think that’s particularly good for anyone.

Valleydad · 28/02/2018 14:59

He pushes the interviewees into an answer like a proper journalist should. I think he's always respectful of people and says what he thinks. I only watch GMB because he's on it, and turn off if I switch on in the morning and he's missing as the others on the show are kings and queens of the puff piece and I can't deal with their inane chatter before I've had my coffee.

Spangles1963V · 28/02/2018 17:28

I think he comes across as a bit arrogant from what I've read in his column in a Sunday magazine but I think a lot of it is a 'front'. I'm not particularly a fan but I do like his non-racist,non-sexist,anti-guns stance and the way he will keep on at an interviewee until they answer the question.

Panandthegang · 28/02/2018 17:40

I absolutely loved his books, the journals from his time as the mirror editor. They were fascinating and I’ve found it hard to dislike him since!

ReggaetonLente · 28/02/2018 17:41

And yet he supports and speaks well of Donald Trump, slut shames women on social media regularly, and wrote a piece in a national paper about how he’s sure the Muslims community knows all about terrorist attacks before they happen.

I agree with you that he says he’s all those things, I just think his actions betray a slightly different agenda.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 28/02/2018 17:52

I think his arrogance detracts from the points he tries to make and his insistence on talking over conpresenters is irritating. I agree with his stance on guns, but don’t like his attitude towards Trump.

He managed to get homseousted from the Mirror and his job in America. I get the impression that he feels women are less intelligent, incisive and interesting, so I don’t really believe his feminist stance.

There are times though, when he rips into a politician or extremist, that I applaud what he’s doing, even though I don’t like him.

Itmakesthereaderreadon · 28/02/2018 17:55

Isn't he married to Marina Hyde? If so, one of them is definitely faking their public persona.

susiebee61 · 28/02/2018 18:53

no its celia walden he's married to, after leaving his first wife and children.that wasn't nice

I remember his time at the Daily Mirror and have not liked him since. Fake photos that lied about the British Army were published under his watch.

Plantlover · 28/02/2018 18:56

Foxy

He talked ove the loose women presenters too.
