frenchleave i saw the work 'loofah' in your post and screamed and moved on. F&Z has a lot to answer for, now i'm loofah phobic as well as spider phobic.

I don't really know - mine when i was about 15 i think, but people can keep growing generally until 17 - 18.

frenchleave · 04/05/2007 10:29

Why, what's wrong with loofahs?

Wotzsaname · 04/05/2007 10:29

frenchleave - when they are teens and stop getting taller!

Hassled - Hoover in room, pick dirty clothes up and throw over his head

Boco - No stay at home, poor dc!

should I let my dd2 who is off school, play on PC, read, or go back to bed?

Boco · 04/05/2007 10:33

frenchleave F&Z won't allow the word spider in thread titles as she hates spiders, so asked everyone to use the word loofah instead. Now the word loofah makes me itch too.

frenchleave · 04/05/2007 10:35

Ah, I see. Wierd.

So DD will have giant's feet then, poor girl.

Wotszaname - depends what's wrong with her. If she has a temp or headache, off to bed. Otherwise, read or TV.

Wotzsaname · 04/05/2007 10:39

Do you think flannels or sponges are better for bathtime?

OP posts:
Anna8888 · 04/05/2007 10:42

Flannels, but they need to be washed on a hot wash EVERY day to avoid germs.

frenchleave · 04/05/2007 10:44

Snap, almost. Mine is 9.5 and has size 5, long skinny feet.

Flannels, definitely.

Wotzsaname · 04/05/2007 10:46

AIBU to ask you, to answer (many thanks)

AND ask a question?

OP posts:
Boco · 04/05/2007 10:50

Boil wash flannels EVERY day?

Anna8888 · 04/05/2007 10:54

You can wash flannels at 60 celsius as long as you wash them every day. They are a complete breeding ground for germs otherwise.

Lovecat · 04/05/2007 14:50

So do I scrub my dry elbows with a spider, then? [confused smiley]

Boil flannels once a week or sooner if looking skanky... obv. we're just a breeding ground for germs...

Soooo.... getting back on topic: Flash or dettol spray?

Anna8888 · 04/05/2007 16:51

Lovecat - you can buy a nice scratchy synthetic friction mitt (in any chemist) that also washes at 60. Much more efficient than a loofah. Scrub in the bath with a bit of shower gel, rinse body and apply body lotion.
