So I had dd last April. I lost a lot of weight in my pregnancy and ended up so saggy on my belly. Slowly it went back to normal. I was back in my size 12 jeans 3 days after birth luckily. So ds is due next month and I've done a lot of stretching and a lot of weight has been put on. I kept having growth scans with dd as I wouldn't eat and the hospital was concerned with her. She was too small. So I've made sure to try and keep eating this time. Normally I'll add.

But ds is huge in my belly. The midwife said he was huge too. But he's been moving up and down and right now he's far up in my belly (35w) and my belly is just hanging down like an apron and I hate it.

I'm going to make a conscious effort to get a lot fitter and healthier so I can run about with my dcs when they can play etc. But I'm worried I'll have this flabby belly forever. It's genuinely like an apron :(

You can definitely get rid, OP! My two pregnancies were very different. With the first, I put on weight throughout and sort of got wider! With the second, who was breach, I had a tight little ball high up front, that became a tight big ball, high up front. From the back I didn’t look PG at all. Extended BF helped me lose the weight, as did walking everywhere post-birth. I now have a flat stomach with a little line where my c-section scar was.

Yes with exercise and sensible eating. Some people are lucky and pingback. Core work helped me along with not feasting on lots of sugar.

Pillates and avoiding alcohol both help.

I got rid of my mum tum far quicker and easier with my second (who was 2 weeks earlier than my first and 9lb) breastfeeding helps. And running up and down stairs after 2 DC. And living on a hill

I think my saggy skin mum tum/ CS overhang are beyond natural means of redemption. I weigh less than I did pre DCs and I'm not prepared to lose any more of my B cups to attempt to lose the remaining fat dangling on to my abomen when I'm otherwise slim, fit and healthy.

A large (for me) baby, an olympic swimming pool of fluid for him and getting housebound with SPD caused me to gain 50% of my bodyweight in less than 5 months. My elastic limit was exceeded.
