To ask you to help me decorate my daughters room? I’m hopeless!

I’ve bought things I think are nice and stuck them in her room but it’s so unfinished. I need new curtains, a rug etc but I’ve no idea what colour to buy? I’m concerned about the pink things all being different shades. Also, I need to put shelves/ pictures up, but where? This really isn’t my strong point so I’m hoping some of you may be able to help.

Pics should be attached. Excuse the bed (DD made it herself) and the bow holder behind the dressing up rail will be coming down.

You can make bunting using fabric from old clothes that can't be passed on. I have some denim pieces I'm saving to make a backpack, as the jeans were ripped and couldn't be mended, for example.

I’d try and use the colours on the patchwork bed throw as my starting point.

Green and pink bunting.

Fairy lights.

My fashion conscious, 17 yr old DD has suggested bunting in letter shapes to spell out your DD's name. Also that fluffy fabric will look good Grin
