This is written on a poster on the wall at work. I think it's a rubbish message.

Agree that people jumping through hoops means making them to do pointless things just to be difficult.

I don't think whoever put it up understands it. Or maybe they do Grin

Taking about pointless things just to be difficult, a admin role i had in early 90s the office of about 15 people required a monthly stocktake, we all had to take turns to do it and it was the most boring and pointless thing as so pedantic.

It wasnt a case of box of black pens minus 2 pens but that was a PITA.

if we found a pack of printer paper esp coloured printer paper reams where they were opened we all openly cried as while we knew 500 sheets in a ream, somebody may have come along and taken 10 sheets off the yellow and 15 sheets off the pink and 20 off the green so somebody had to physically count the remain coloured paper to make sure there was enough.500 sheets - 10 / 15 / 20 off 500 - in a block of paper, it was soul destroying counting it

Cos we had to use the ordinary white for everything and couldnt use the colours till all prining was ready formated and passed by senior manager.

That role may or may not have contributed to one of my breakdowns

Go self employed. My inspirational wall slogan said 'the customer is always wrong'.
