To wish I was a man? (sort of lighthearted)

Not so "D"H has been complaining all week that he hasn't seen enough of me or our DD whose 2 recently. So he promised he'd sort DDs breakfast today, I could have a lie-in then we could do something together. He does usually go to the gym at some point but it's open until midnight so he could go after DD was in bed if he wanted.

Enjoying a rare lie-in with a cup of tea (I don't drink tea) I hear DD shouting "No don't like" and hear her run into her room (flat so can hear everything). H comes into our room declares he can't get DD to eat so I'd need to get up.

So I do. And at some point while she's eating and I'm watching (I'm still scared she'll choke on her food) H leaves the house, and just sends a text to say he's going the gym and we can do something once he's back.

So it's 9.20am, and I'm wishing I was a man. To be able to just get up and take off without worrying about whether the childs taken care of or not.

It's lighthearted because I expected it; he works 50-60 hours a week whereas I do less than half that (18-24ish), he works hard and i do think he loves DD but he has no idea how hard looking after a toddler actually is.
