My daughter asked him the other day for £10 pocket money and he gave it to her. Today I checked my bank to see if he had put the children's maintenance in and he had taken the £10 off. Seriously?!

You know he might have done you a favour - because he has now underpaid you the maintenance you can tell CSA/CMS that the direct pay isn’t working and you want to go to collect and pay.

If he doesn’t agree to the collect and pay they can progress your case to deduction from earnings straight from his employer.

However, this all takes ages ...

I once asked my ex to pay my sons school dinner money as he had him overnight Sunday and I forgot to put a cheque in his bag. He deducted that amount off my maintenance. Hit the Jackpot with him! Arsehole

If he is your ex of 19 years how come you have DC of an age where you are getting maintenance.

It's not only £10. It's money for my children, I work a hell of a lot of hours to provide for them and all he has to do is to pay £79.15 a week. It's the principle.

Social services and the police are aware of my ex and his partners way of making money.
