I like them too. No need for the nastiness!

Switch it off when they come on. Simple.

I'm at a loss as to grown arse adults getting so het up over a couple of women singing on an advert. Such vitriol and venom towards those women, it's totally, totally uncalled for.

You've got a remote presumably?! Switch. It. Off.

Apparently they've had death threats.

Though the article I read didn't actually show any death threats, there were some 'I wish they'd get hit by a bus' comments which aren't a threat on somebody's life.

Obviously death threats (if there were any) would be beyond the pale for anyone. I find them incredibly annoying and we always laugh when they come on imagining what it must be like to be their relatives seeing them making a tit of themselves on TV in the middle of watching Corrie or whatever!

Nationwide knew what they were doing casting these, it's got so much more attention than a boring normal non annoying ad. Any publicity is good publicity!

Daily Mail showed some, which weren't even death threats. They were statements saying they need to or should die. If the adverts are still going when my fixed term is up, Nationwide can go fuck itself, even if it ends up costing me more money to go elsewhere.

I hate them. Not enough to send death threats, but I want to boot the TV in when they're on.
