Who does Lizzie Yarnold remind me of???

It’s driving me bonkers, who does she remind me of?? It’s how she speaks and her mannerisms. My whole Winter Olympics viewing is being disturbed by this!!!

There are some horrible people out there who are just waiting to kick someone when they are down - I can't imagine the sort of person who would want to post horrible things about a young woman who is putting herself out there and doing her utmost in her sport.

Fingers crossed for her, I her coaches and her support staff can help her put all the pressure out of her mind, focus on herself and that she gets a good clear run - she has all the ability, she just needs that little bit of luck to tip her way.

I think what must be so frustrating especially in this sport is that you can do everything right in terms of preparation and then something that is out of your control can mess it all up.

LillyBugg you probably weren't born when I was at the school either! I wonder how many other 'Old Girls' there are on MN. Maybe Lizzy will come to the anniversary day in July.
