To change the password

Itsanothernamechange · 18/02/2018 12:01

Just gone on to Netflix to binge watch some friends when the pop up appears saying too many people are using the account.

These people are dps brother and family and dps ex wife who both have the password though neither contribute to paying for it.

I only cancelled my Netflix last month's as dp said he was still paying his account and as his was multiscreen whereas mine was 1 screen his was better and it would save us money.

So now I'm locked out and pissed off with a grumpy 5yo and a 10wk old who's kept me up all night.

Will you all agree me changing the password isn't irrational.

Also dp is at work till 8pm and unreachable.

Tally agree witb snakeshun. Don't be a walk over. Just log everyone out and change it.

HeebieJeebies456 · 18/02/2018 12:36

have you changed it?

liquidrevolution · 18/02/2018 12:36

Change the password for today. Your need is greater.

But make sure you discuss it with DH later as its clearly very silly that you cant use something you are paying for.

MyBrilliantDisguise · 18/02/2018 12:44

One account between you and a changed password. Why the hell should you be unable to watch something that you're paying for?

Itsanothernamechange · 18/02/2018 12:45

I've changed it. Donning my hard hard for the fall out. But totally agree. Why are we paying for something we can't use.

For now why don't you go to log out on all devises then quickly log back in on yours so you have your device working and let whoever else is watching fight it out for the remaining access, then talk to your OH later and ask him if you should change the password.

FollowYourOwnNorthStar · 18/02/2018 14:06

So......if they were all watching it, and you’ve just changed the password.........have you had any phone calls from the disgruntled freeloaders yet?

EggysMom · 18/02/2018 14:10

I wouldn't even volunteer to DH that I changed the password. I'd wait until somebody phones him to moan, and then be really relaxed about it, "Oh yes, I had to reset it. I couldn't get on, and presumed something was wrong as you had said that we wouldn't run out of accesses. Resetting it seemed to work ..." Keep doing this every time until one of the others gets pissed off and sorts out their own account!

MrsElvis · 18/02/2018 14:23

I'd change it in a heartbeat and would bawl out anyone who had the cheek to complain. It's £5!
