No. This isn't a reverse.

Was talking to my friend today (F1). She went shopping on Monday. She has recieved 5 "freebies" from a body care shop (soaps, hair care, beauty) VERY expensive shop.

How she did this..

She emailed customer care, told them she wasn't happy with the service she got. That they ignored her. Told him how the staff was obsessing over someone she brought with her because she was more prettier (F2). F2 She got a freebie and F1 didnt. F1 was pissed off because she had just bought the SAME thing that got given for free. She told them she was absloutley furious and was thinking about publicly exposing it.

So they sent her 5 things.
Looked up online, Well over £60 quids worth!!!

The thing with F2 actually happened. But everything else she told them was complete bullshit.

I asked her why she did this? She said because you don't get if you don't ask.

I was gobsmacked.

Is this the new thing.

If so I can imagine they hear this complaint very often and have a standard response. Twice now I have been in their stores (two different stores) and both times was completely shunned in favour of what seemed to be the young and prettier types. I boycott them now. - I have also spoken to two friends who had the same experience there.

What I am saying is (after my rant) that although I am surprised that they responded in that way to her complaint without investigation, in some stores they clearly behave like that.

You'll find I'm not in the slightest. I'm outraged at the fact she lied about them completley ignoring her. When in actual fact they didn't. She did it purposely to get freebies. Which totalled up to way over £60. Which may and no odds got he company. But is a ridiculous thing to do when you have just lied about it to get them things!!

When people work long hours to earn money to spend, while other people lie there way into getting good over the odds?

Don't waste the energy on outrage at their behaviour. They're acting like me and my friends did as teenagers. View them like that - immature. And find some decent friends.

Well if the company dish out freebies to scammers without checking instore cctv and staff statements first I have no sympathy.
