I cringe every time my kid watches it, it's so weird. The dads face is enough to piss me off never mind the two evil little horror kids!

Except that the cluttered relaxed house is totally at odds with Joy’s OBSESSION with ‘superwashing’ (double washing?) hands every five fucking minutes.

It is jarring because Joy is clearly not the type to have clutter.
I thought she was miscast but now I get the alcoholic subplot thing more. Very sad.
