DP has been ill all week & being a completely miserable bastard.
I’m hiding in the unused front room because I cannot bear to be in his presence at the moment & thinking wine 🍷 is the way to go

I opened mine at quarter to 6, I normally prefer to wait til about 8, but who cares.

Ive just poured my large glass... my parents came round earlier and dad insists on criticising/advising me on housework/diy/parenting whenever hes round... he clearly has far too much time on his hands now hes retired! I caught him rooting in my bins to check on my recycling earlier on this morning... he likes to make sure ive ripped my cardboard boxes into small enough pieces...

Anyway i digress!

What does that no 1 candle smell like? I've a lovely no 3 on the go (and a huge glass of rioja ).

Omg help me- I thought I'd join you all and have a glass before my PILs arrive.....what I thought was my spare bottle of wine is actually non-alcoholic punch 😳😓

@tshirtsuntan number 1 candle smells lush and even DH as commented on how nice it is rather than blowing it out as he usually does Myself and candle plus blush Pinot Grigio have moved to the bath now but I'll spare you any photos of that combo 😂😂

I've also got a number 3...pomegranate? Haven't tried it yet.

No 3 is nice- fruity, not sure which fruit as I chucked the box out before I checked! They're nice, burn quite quickly but a nice scent while they last.

Rough week here and not much sleep in past 48hrs. Pizza washed down with a beer here and wine chilling to be opened as soon as DD in bed...which will be v soon! Cheers
