AIBU to ask those whose baby was diagnosed with Down syndrome antenataly what your blood results were?

Sorry I put this in AIBU, but I haven’t had any replies on the antenatal test board , and am posting for traffic.

I’m currently waiting for my Iona test results, but according to the NHS tests I have a 1 in 6 chance.

I am not good with not knowing things, so have been obsessively researching it, and wondered if anyone would be Kind enough to share their tests?

I have just been given a positive for Down’s Syndrome from the Harmony Test. I am 42 and was given a 1 in 20 chance so the result was what I expected. I’m being scanned at 26 weeks because they picked up Her ( I’m having a girl 🎀) tummy slightly protruding so need to check for access fluid that could lead to a bowel blockage so fingers crossed it won’t come to that. I’m feeling daunted if what lies ahead but know the Joy will outweigh. How was your first year? Be great to hear about your journey so far. Jo

Sorry to jump in the DS Association were a great help to my Mil (BIL has DS). I'm sure they can put you in touch with people for support and help. Congratulations on your little girl!

I went on to have The Harmony Test and result confirmed that my baby has Down’s syndrome. I am 42.

How did you get on OP?

I'm 36.. I got a 9 in 10 chance are baby has downs syndrome. We were devasted . The only elevated blood was the beta free hcg, which was around 6mom. We had amniocentesis.. the hardest wait and the most shattering result.. my little baby has downs syndrome. The result was abnormal , and it has trisomy 21. All my scans were perfect... everyone said everything looked normal. My first baby aswell. I am just so numb.

How did you get on OP?

My results at 12 weeks were
2.9mm nuchal measurement
0.6 PAPPA
1.0 HCG
Age 25

Was given 1:100. Had the Harmony test which came back 1:10000. She did not have DS. I've personally vowed not to have the 12w screening again and will pay for Harmony straight away at 10w.

Hi im 38 years old currently 14 weeks pregnant an I've had the nipt test an I have just received the results which has come back high risk, ive decided on the amnio which I'll get next week wen I'm 15 weeks, has anyone been through similar? I'm really worried x
