AIBU to not really understand the appeal of Myleene Klass

Just that really. She got a workout DVD to flog so she poses nude to raise her profile and hopefully get more sales and therefore she's all over the telly. I just don't understand her appeal.

Its really sad that I am having to prepare my dd's for a world where you can be hated by complete strangers just for being either successful, attractive, confident or skinny.
Being a nasty/jealous person who enjoys spreading negativeity and putting other women down online though is ofcouse perfectly reasonable and likeable traits.
If this was a thread about a individual Mumsnet user MNHQ would be all over it and have it taken down for breaking talk guidlines but somehow women who are rich or have been on TV a few times dont deserve the same respect and its acceptable to personally attack them for no reason.

She’s exotic-looking thanks to her ethnic background, so I suppose that helps make her stand out, but in my opinion, and that of those I know in real life, she isn’t attractive or pretty.

Can’t stand her either. Don’t watch any tv she is on and switch radio over when she’s on. Don’t know what it is about her but she gets me so angry

YANBU. Not a fan, she seems to have calmed down in recent times though, I haven't heard of any bitchy articles by her lately.

I haven't seen her on anything or anywhere for ages. Thought she had disappeared from the public eye. Not on my radar at all.

If she's back maybe she could take over from Tess on Strictly. Someone needs to.

I lost a lot of respect when she appeared naked out the blue. Why do some women feel they have to do that to get any attention, keep the public eye /whatever. It just seems so desperate to me and attention seeking.
I don't see what was wrong with the post up thread that said she was exotic looking but not especially pretty in the posters opinion so why the stroppy reply?
I don't think she is pretty at all, very cold eyes. I think if people build a career in public eye that's ( of latter years especially) built largely on being attractive then people are going to comment if they don't think you are.

I wish that the group (not band) that she was a part of had never existed, and that her real musical ability could have been allowed to have an audience without it. Hearsay may not have been quite as bad as S Club 7 or Steps but not far off.

No real opinion of her as a person now.
