Seems a lovely things to me, to keep something so special private when the whole world wants in, and she's always branded as wanting the limelight like the rest of the K family.

For most people Yes, keeping it private is kind of nice except with the Mardashians I expect there was an ulterior motive.

Her surname is Jenner and she is half sister to the 3 Kardashian sisters and 1 Kardashian brother.
She has a full sister called Kendall Jenner.

I think it's nice that she kept the oregnancy private. Their whole lives are on TV so this was refreshing, although I could be cynical and say it was a good move becuase it's all young people have,been talking about - is she or isn't she ?

I thought she was keeping it quiet because none of the magazines / websites were interested in paying millions for an exclusive.

Also that the Kardashians are trying to rein in their publicity for the pregnancy guff to improve dwindling ratings for their reality show etc.

They are a sharp clan and they will have considered all angles. Privacy / special time with baby being irrelevant to their plans.

I have just had a look at the Kardashian family tree Toblerone. Complicated is an understatement. No idea about any of them. I think I am ok with that, best not to start now.

I thought Kylie Minogue too. I was at Westfields shepherds Bush once and it was heaving with young girls. The Kardashians were there promoting something or other. I had never heard of them but there was great excitement.

Apparently it was only kept quiet because no magazines would pay the huge amount Kris was asking for photos and an interview.

YANBU. She comes across as more sensitive and 'normal' than her siblings. Bet you it wound Kris up, not being able to sell every little detail to the media.

Kylie can not do right for doing wrong, so it seems. Yes what you say could've been true but what if she really did^ want to keep it private because she wanted a no fuss/stress free pregnancy? Then what?

Complete and utter publicity stunt to keep it a secret.

There were already 2 pregnancies going on, so it was a very calculated decision for Kylie to keep it quiet (generate a "different" type of publicity? The 'is she / isn't she' bullshit)

Hmmm kept quiet about it, kept the Internet talking and wondering about it for months with several carefully staged, candid pap pics and then did a HUGE reveal today accompanied by an 11 minute video !!!

That wasn't keeping quiet and private that was pure and simple PR business
