To be sad I have wasted my life barely noticing Kevin Bacon

I always thought he was a bit too pointy but I find him very attractive these days in the EE adverts. And I am watching Footloose now and he was quite gorgeous then. That film was made in 1984. I have wasted decades when I could have been appreciating him. Aibu to feel like this?

Wild Things... from what I remember, we see him in ALL Blush his glory in a shower scene ...

HerbNotErb · 03/02/2018 20:44

Kevin wearing the Britney Spears outfit in the EE ad made me sad - he looked tiny & old
Tremors I feel he was at peak virility

deadringer · 03/02/2018 20:46

I think he looks like David platt in coronation St. Not my cup of tea.

echt · 03/02/2018 20:48

I think the first film I saw him was "Stir of Echoes" - he was good.

I must be the only person in the world who hasn't seen "Footloose"

witchofzog · 03/02/2018 20:50

I have seen River Wild. He is a baddie isn't he?

Yeah I love him!

Check out HOLLOW MAN. It's amazing. and you get a glimpse of his rather fine manhood for 4 or 5 seconds...... longer if you freezeframe it Blush

witchofzog · 03/02/2018 21:03

I have lots of films on my what to watch wish list now. Especially Hollow Man so I can freeze frame erm pertinent scenes Grin

I loved stir of echoes, I haven’t seen it for ages so might pop the dvd on tomorrow.

glitterbiscuits · 03/02/2018 21:08

His teeth don’t match his face! His teeth are all white and shiny and new. His face is craggy and tired.

I liked his cameo in Will and Grace years ago though....

WhiteHartLane · 03/02/2018 21:09

I think he looks good in Stir of Echo's, Footloose, Friday 13th and Wild Things.

Mentioned to a work collegue that I found him attractive (she thinks its hilarious and cannot see it??!!) and my last 3 Xmas gifts from her have been a Kevin Bacon keyring, mug and an authentic autographed photo.

CoolCarrie · 03/02/2018 21:12

I agree he would be perfect as Bowie!

Whizbang · 03/02/2018 21:23

Mmmm Kevin Bacon in Tremors, yum!

halfwitpicker · 03/02/2018 21:23

He's gorgeous.

VetOnCall · 03/02/2018 21:23

The River Wild is on FilmFour right now although KB is evil in it, Meryl Streep FTW Grin

halfwitpicker · 03/02/2018 21:23

Yes to Bowie.

halfwitpicker · 03/02/2018 21:24

Yes I remember wild things.. Went to see it just for the shower scene.

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 03/02/2018 21:25

Stir of echoes

Tremours and footloose are my top three....not in that order

I love the will and grace episode where Jack is stalking Kevin...very funny if you can catch it

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 03/02/2018 21:29

He's a bit too pointy, and he's a werepig.

DontCallMeCharlotte · 03/02/2018 21:30

A threesome with him and Rob Lowe....

Sorry - did I say that out loud?

DangerousMouse · 04/02/2018 18:41

Thanks to this thread I have spent the weekend watching Murder in the first and now The Following... He is so beautiful!

EscapeTheCastle · 04/02/2018 18:51

He has a memorable turn in JFK. My favourite is Flatliners.

Also love Stir of Echoes. Couldn't get on with The Following, I know I'm missing out there though!
He is extremely attractive in Picture Perfect so that's a must see for any of you that are new to the Bacon genre!

saltandvinegarcrisps1 · 04/02/2018 18:55

Google the Oracle of Kevin bacon - it's a six degrees of separation thingy. Totally addictive. I tried it with Thora Hird and it even worked with that!!

falsepriest · 04/02/2018 18:56

Hung like a horse

Zaphodsotherhead · 04/02/2018 18:59

I don't really like him, as such, but I do think the EE adverts make him seem a likeable doofus.

Sparklingbrook · 04/02/2018 19:01

I love KB. My favourite is him in She's Having a Baby' with her off Downton Abbey.
