Wonder if social media pressure will make them reverse the decision.

I tend not to lick any packaging TBH and I find it serves me well.

You are wise beyond your years, Soupdragon. That is very sound advice.

MIL used to live by the sea and their greengrocer had a jar of dog biscuits behind the counter for all the dogs who came in.

There is a brilliant bookshop in Alnwick (Barter Books) where dogs are welcomed and often doggy biscuits are offered. The owner (I think), when I thanked him for the treats he was stuffing my greedy spaniels with, told me that he occasionally had people complaining about dogs being in the shop, but always told whiners that the dogs caused fewer problems and destroyed less stock than a lot of the children who visited.

And apparently fewer dogs pee'd on the floor . . .

I own cats and even the nicest of them can bite or scratch occasionally

I have two.

They are bastards.
