To think you don't take your child into toddler group if they've just been sick in the car

Lining up to pay our entrance fees and a mum with toddler and preschooler come in. Toddler is covered in sick. Mum announces 'she's been sick in the car getting here, just going to clean her up' and ushers kids to the loos. Reappears (toddler in fresh clothes), they pay and join the group. Toddler running around playing, apparently ok now although I overhear her mum telling friend she doesn't know why she was sick.

AIBU to think it's idiotic and selfish to take your child into playgroup when they've just vomited? If it's a bug you risk infecting all the other toddlers and babies Angry

Would you have said something to the mum?

I'd assume travel sickness.

if the toddler has travel sickness regularly the mum would know why dc was sick. If it's was first ever travel sick she shouldn't have taken a chance.

Kids do get exposed to germs, often can't be helped, but allowing someone with a possible vomiting bug is rude.

I wouldn't have said something but I would have left.
