To ask you where I should go in France?!

I feel like I'm going mad! I'm trying to find a reasonably priced holiday for us for the last week of July but the prices are scandalous!
I've now had the brain wave of driving over to France but I have literally no idea where I want to go!
We will be coming from Dover and will have 2 DC under 4 with us, so don't want to drive for hours and hours. The places needs to be quiet-ish but have enough nearby to entertain us for 10 days.

Anyone?

I used to go to berny rivière as a child and it was great, one of my favourite childhood holidays. At that age is a pool and park not pretty much all they need?

If you need to stop we used to stay in formule one motels once we were through the tunnel (driving from Scotland). They’re cheap and cheerful, v basic but perfect for a stop over.

This makes me want to be a child again, I never stepped foot on a plane till I was 16 and had the best holidays and childhood.

Colmar and the wine route up to Strasbourg. Beautiful!!
