OwlinaTree · 27/01/2018 22:47

Local tesco or coop small shop will be open. Newsagents will be open in the morning for papers. Garage?

mumpoints · 27/01/2018 22:47

Make one
Garage

thUnderdog · 27/01/2018 22:47

Plenty smaller places will be open. I'm rural but still within 15 minutes of a couple of corner shops and a small Co-op that would be open.

Ginmakesitallok · 27/01/2018 22:47

Any big supermarket? Or make one?

Bossbaby12 · 27/01/2018 22:49

Maybe say you left it at home when you drop DD off and then rush off to but something super quick?

Cheeseislife · 27/01/2018 22:50

What a ridiculous post... how is anyone supposed to answer without knowing where you live and what's nearby?

BulletFox · 27/01/2018 22:50

But there'd be a newsagents open early, wouldn't there?

italiancortado · 27/01/2018 22:54

Well you could go to any supermarket here. Having no idea where you live though no one can really help.

lilly0 · 27/01/2018 22:54

What is the age of the birthday child?
Since reception when dd had parties there have always been some that put £5 in a card. I did last year for one of the boys as I knew he liked minecraft but most things too pricey. I picked up a minecraft activity book in the works to put with £5.
Good for parents as less gifts that nsy not be suitable to home. My dd loves being able to go to the toy shop and choose what she wants so she is happy. Easy for you. You could add some sweets or choc if you wanted.
One yr 6 kids gave dd money so she had some lovely shopping trips and was able to get a costume she wanted. Also helps them to understand what things cost as threy can only spend big once.
