"I'm a laugh, I'm a bit crazy me"

Not a lot more to say on that!

at uni you can always tell when drama students are anywhere in the vicinity. You can hear them a mile away.

Perfectly nice, but very loud and dramatic.

'You don't have to be mad to work here. But it helps.'

Rachmumoftwo · 28/04/2007 22:57

Unless they really are crazy & warning you to run away......

madamez · 28/04/2007 22:57

One to try on such people (if you feel a trifle mischevious) is to put a clammy, caring hand on their arm and ask them sympathetically about their medication, therapy, whether their particular problem means they eat the carpet, or have to wear a tinfoil hat to keep the Illuminati away... oh and finish up by asking them if they've tried the power of prayer for their affliction.

Is it possible to read an internet forum without some mention of a David Ickism? Its a bit...crazzeee! Ha ha, sorry I just had to.

Lovecat · 29/04/2007 13:31

God, my mother does this and it makes me cringe! She's got this 'oh, our family sense of humour is so special and wacky' thing that she does to people and it just makes me want to dig a hole, crawl into it and never come out again...

But I do do amdram

OrmIrian · 29/04/2007 13:46

I wouldn't say that I hate them. Just would prefer to keep away. Because crazy can mean a lot of things. They might mean 'crazy' as in spontaneous, fun and a good laugh in general. But they also might mean 'crazy' as in dangerously unhinged. You never know. And you run the dreafdul risk that it might actually be the first of the two. Terrifying prospect

AuntAdaDoom · 29/04/2007 13:56

No good will come of being crazy. When the soupbine flowers they'll all jump in the well.

bunsen · 30/04/2007 09:35

LOL Lovecat, I'll let you off then!

suzywong · 30/04/2007 09:38

There was a top sketch by Victoria Wood years ago (FM! that'll be 20 years ago ) where one of her characters harps on and on about being crazy, and of course it is to get attention and fill gaping hole in her character.

NadineBaggott · 30/04/2007 09:39

?????????????

nickytwotimes · 30/04/2007 09:41

Rachmumoftwo · 30/04/2007 09:51

We must all be crazy! lol

marieg76 · 30/04/2007 09:53

Ha ha - I remember when we were in California on honeymoon. We went to one vineyard and after our tasting (and lots of buying!), we asked the guy if he had any restaurant recommendations for lunch. He gave us the address of a place and said, "Tell them Crazy Bob sent you". We turned up at this place and mentioned "Crazy Bob" - the guy clearly knew who this guy was but shook his head whilst laughing. I got the feeling that "Crazy Bob" was only known as "Crazy Bob" in his own head....

LieselVentouse · 30/04/2007 09:55

and you can guarantee theyre probably v. boring

zizou · 30/04/2007 10:02

That's like that "I'm so shy" character on Tittytitty bang bang.

FiveFingeredFiend · 30/04/2007 10:04

FundaMental · 30/04/2007 10:05
