To wonder where these lost toys go?

So DD lost a soft toy today in Tesco. It is not her favourite one and she is only 22 months so it's no big deal really.

It just got me thinking.. do people who find them actually sometimes take them home??

It wasn't handed in and we looked round the store. The same thing happened in m&s once and I left my number and never got a call to say bunny had turned up.

I know it's my fault for not keeping my eye out, but it is hard at times with a toddler and dropping things. I was just wondering what kind of person wouldn't hand in a lost toy!!!

Yes I guess so. My son lost his favourite minions bag it was a little one clearly a child's I called mothercare and they told me it wasn't in the store so I guess someone took it home.

I found a comforter on the path near home last week. Wasn't sure what to do - no wall or anywhere to pop it so I took it home and posted it on the local facebook page. Was lucky that the little girls mum saw the post and came to collect it. All's well that ends well but did wonder if I did the right thing or if I should have just left it on the path.

If I found a toy in a shop I wouldn't take it home but would hand it in to the staff.

When I was around four I found a teddy in Tesco of the dog from the fox and hound. It was my favorite and I had him till about five years ago.

Sorry to whoever lost him that I didn't return him and thank you for him. Smile

I would obviously hand it in if I found one now. Clearly my parents had no morals.
