Contributions based ESA

I am on contributions based ESA for a serious injury that has left me unable to walk, I am slowly improving but have months of physio ahead.
Anyway I sent a sick line a while back and just got a letter today telling me I had to send a new line to them by 31st January or they will stop my payments. They've attached a second class envelope to send it in.
Aibu to think that they haven't exactly engaged their brains here. How am I meant to get a GP appointment and send them the line (2nd class) with 2.5 working days notice Hmm On hold now for 20 minutes to tell them it's impossible.
Didn't think they would need another sick line as I am going for my assessment today which btw they won't pay for my taxi for as I don't have a Doctors letter saying I need one Which I didn't get enough notice to do either!

I'm in an awful lot of pain now, shivering from it.
In one of their cabs on the way home, just want to lie down. Desperate for a hot bath when dh is Home to help me.

That's good generally speaking if they don't attempt to do a physical and get you up on thr table then you have normally got through especially if it's for mobilty
But I would still ring up In 3/4 days and ask for the medical report just in case .
They are known to be sneaky fuckers 😂and that's putting it mildly

With the fit notes, I contact the GP a few days before the last one ends. They do a phone consultation with me, and it's ready the same day. Although I know not every gp does this. Prior to this, I would renew a week before.

What I found this week is that they can be scanned over. My latest one had got lost somewhere. It didn't matter if it was me or someone else, but just needed to get to a job centre with some details and it gets scanned.
Another thing I didn't know until this week is that the payment can be cleared straight away.

Payment was due last Friday. I was able to chase this on Wednesday as I was with someone who could help. We phoned at 9, and by 1, the payment was in my account.

Have had a long warm bath now, taken some cocodomol (trying to cope on that rather than my tramadol) and feel a lot better. Will do some physio in a bit, not looking forward to it but no pain no gain.
Thanks for your support folks x
