For giving back the donations from an organisation that was involved with prolific sex attacks on women. That takes guts and if all my invoices due are paid this month I will be making a one time donation.

@Rebeccaslicker I suspect it will slowly filter its way back to GOSH via back channels when this is no longer news worthy.

ShatnersWig · 26/01/2018 14:05

Dontlet I was wondering about those events, too.

Relatively speaking 600K is pocket money for GOSH. If they though they chiodren’s lives where going to be at immediate risk, their decision might have been different.

Since they aren’t in desperate need of the money and can probably make it up another way I’m not sure they’ve done anything wrong in making the decision that they can afford to give it back.

Considering that all the Men attending were from high level Business backgrounds and the Tory party, how would any charity police donations?

It's a kick in the teeth to any parent being told that an expensive drug can't be tried.

Everyone attending knew the drill about how the Women were selected and that it was men only. Better to go after individuals, than these types of showy behavior.

I can't help feeling that it a way of gaining support after Charlie Gard.

What about butlers in the buff? I've been pondering over that one, there's most likely been many many many ladies nights to raise money for charity where butlers in the buff have been hired to serve women.

Do you think women should be allowed to grope men working for butlers in the buff?

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 26/01/2018 14:23

Im confused all julie said was 'what sex attacks?'

Why does that warrant a well done

Personally inthink the charities should have kept the money as some posters have already said

Julie8008 · 26/01/2018 17:58

We haven't had a single women coming forward saying they were attacked. So wondering where the proof is? All I have heard is 2 reporters with a camera who failed to film a single assault. I despair that we are descending to social media mob rule and truth is no longer pursued.

There has already been a massive discussion on another thread.

I would imagine poor GOSH had to give the money back over fear of another scandal. The Last scandal caused of course by the disgusting behaviour of Charlie Gard's parents and the witch hunt they incited.

Dontletthebastardsgrindyoudown · 26/01/2018 22:24

@Grimbles not at all. Im just comparing the two types of events, not comparing who gets felt up more, women, just that the same events with swapped roles happen a lot for charitable events, it's not new.
