Dogs in the playground on school pickup

I don't think dogs should be allowed in a playground at drop-off/pick-up, am I being unreasonable? What is done at your school? My school allows it and I don't think it's quite right.

Watched a puppy do a wee in the playground this morning (on the tarmac). Should I say something? I wonder whether someone would say that cars could easily come and pee in the playground and you wouldn't know...
Don't know whether I am being precious at not wanting to be around dogs.

Of course. Yanbu. Dogs shouldnt be in a playground.
