It strikes me as so strange.

I just can't pin point what it is. Just seems so out of place in 2017 And the furniture seems mostly naff 80s/90s!

I don't think this is too bad, although a cheaply made ad.

What I really detest are the oak furniture land adverts. I want to gouge my eardrums out when I hear that "knock on wood" whistle-y tune and the furniture is the most boring, middle of the road shite. The ads on constantly so they must be making a load of money but I don't understand why.

Low budget local - it does almost look like a parody, OP !

When you get older you go for comfort and not looks so much.

When I was shopping at the La-Z-Boy store I discovered all the pieces I liked on-line were not very comfy and I selected the more comfortable ones instead - even though I didn’t care for the looks at all.

Oh you can laugh now at incontinence knickers, I know I did, but there will come a day when you sit up straight and pay attention when the ads come on - believe me.

I don't dislike it but I've never seen an advert like it before, at all. It doesn't seem to fit with the modern ads? I don't know
