I am normally very anti “conspiracy theories” BUT anyone else reckon it’s a bit weird we have all these weird strains and high volumes of people with the flu this year?

What with Jeremy Cunt wanting to privatise the NHS and all Hmm

Its the chronic underfunding and understaffing due to reduced training posts and staff morale that's the conspiracy; not the flu. I work in a hospital and it is honestly in a truly awful crisis right now

DesignedForLife · 25/01/2018 20:38

Well the flu is hitting the US worse but no NHS there.

Also google 1918 flu pandemic. Flu can be leathal.

klondikecookie1 · 25/01/2018 20:40

Can’t sniff a thing, I’m full of flu.

sallyarmy1 · 25/01/2018 20:41

Do you mean like the labour twerps doing this deliberately, to take the emphasise off them and the danger that they are?

If so, then yes, I will go with the conspiracy theory.

EggsonHeads · 25/01/2018 20:42

Don't be an idiot. The really bad flu came from Australia.

GeorgeW78 · 25/01/2018 21:00

Throwing the cat among the pigeons I think the conspiracy theorists believe it's the pharmaceutical industry (in general that is, not specifically about this flu season)!

ReanimatedSGB · 25/01/2018 21:06

Beware Randy Flagg

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 26/01/2018 07:53

Conspiracy theorists always have pharmaceuticals & govt at centre of some conspiracy
It’s a perennial

humptyboggart · 26/01/2018 08:36

It's like a comfort thing. It can never be a shitty thing that happens, it's always "a mysterious someone made it happen for some demonic purpose ". Bit medieval really.

MiltonPennyFather · 26/01/2018 09:00

Well tell that to the families of people who have died from it.

Ohyesiam · 26/01/2018 09:19

The health service is being dismantled and privatised any way, it's Tory policy.

Ninoo25 · 26/01/2018 09:25

Ohyesiam I agree, but think it’s very underhand that they didn’t just make it an official policy in the general election, that way people can actually make an informed choice. Although, I think most people have been able to see their true intentions for a long time - why else would they put the author of a book on how to privatise the NHS as Heath Secretary

SilverySurfer · 26/01/2018 09:36

Bonkers.
