Why does just 2 glasses of poxy wine make me feel like shit the morning after?

It's not right and it's not fair, I wasn't even drunk.

Thank you.

Another one who's stopped drinking wine - everytime I touch the stuff I have a headache the next morning.

Lager / spirits / bitter all fine - no hangovers at all!!

I won;t say I told you so

I've never been able to be properly drunk like being totally off your head and not remembering it the next day.
I'm either sick or fall asleep and this can be on anything even vodka.
Not fair!

Try organic wine- I don't get a groggy feeling the next day when I drink it. Doesn't have to be pricey, look in the supermarket.
Enjoy! x

Really interesting to read this thread. I have also given up drinking wine, as it makes me feel so lousy. At first (from just after dd2 was born) it was just red that made me feel rubbish, but gradually it has got so that even one glass is enough to give me a headache (immediately - not even the next day!). Clear spirits don't seem to affect me (gin and vodka), though I only have them occasionally, and I am experimenting with organic wine with some success (one glass only, so far, but no headache).

It's unusual to find wine that's less than 13% nowadays. More and more are 14% or 14.5. So a couple of glasses feels like a real hit of alcohol.
