Brushing hair

If you have long hair how many times a day do you brush it?
And if you brush it more than once does it make it go frizzy?

Just remembered, I was watching a French woman on YouTube, she was answering questions and one was how do French women keep their hair looking good. She said one thing they don’t do is brush the hair often. Then she said certainly not every day. Reckons that brushing breaks the hair and contributes to frizz.

Well, there's your issue LittleMissComper. Because you brush it so much, it then needs doing more and more.
It's like people who wash their hair every day complaining because then it needs washing every day - it will, if you stimulate all that extra oil each day. Leave it alone, and it won't. Smile

My hair is very long, very thick and very straight.

Everytime I move it needs brushing. But I only brush the length, generally every few hours or whenever I've been out in wind or rain.

Oh it never goes frizzy!

Lol, I have a toddler and WISH I'd get time to brush my hair 'once' a day!!

Only when I’m blow drying it (twice per week).

I might make an exception and brush if/when I get caught in a hurricane.

I need to make a new study of this issue - my hair is changing texture as I age. I’m going to try a bit less brushing. Thanks for the thread!
