Sorry, sort of a help me out AIBU...

Heading to London which is a hugggeee things for us country bumpkins.

Taking DD(9) who would love to have afternoon tea somewhere special. Have looked and found a perfect Charlie and the chocolate factory inspired afternoon tea One Aldwych however at £44 each im a little Hmm as I can't see any kid prices online... Aibu to think £44 is a bit steep for what I assume will be child portions?

Can anyone recommend an affordable (I don't mind maybe £30pp) afternoon tea, kid friendly, with a little bit of something special, afternoon tea?

Thanks

Look on buyagift, they have money off if you use the code LOVEHEART or virgin experience days have upto 50% off regular prices.

Also, there is an afternoon tea bus that does a tour of London while serving you afternoon tea but I always thought that was very expensive - but might be worth it if you can find a code or buy through a site that gives you cashback.

Bear in mind that children’s prices mean children’s or half portions; and posh places have a fixed allowance of food per person. If your dd has a healthy appetite you will probably not be allowed any more food.

Look on vouchercodes, buyagift, travelzoo

Try just up the street at The Delaunay. The cake counter is to die for. I have taken my dd their a lot. Have a look online. They have a cafe part and a restaurant part.
