I am exactly the same as Empress. Always known I have never wanted them and I am now 44 and will hopefully be sterilised in the next few months.

Depending on your age you might get friends/family questioning you. Luckily I never did. I was always very clear about my feelings and my family never ever mentioned it. Just make it clear it is your decision and don't let anyone put any pressure on you. If you change your mind later, that's your prerogative.
