To not bother going to the docs over this

I haven't had a period since October. POAS last month (Just to make sure) which was negative so not preg.
I've always been regular apart from the last 12 months where I've had a few slightly late ones and missed a couple completely. But I've now missed the 3rd one in a row.
I'm overweight so my friend said it could possibly be pcos. The only other symptom of that is that I've been getting a but of a hairy chin for the last few years!!! 😐 I'm 31. Don't want anymore kids so I'm not that fussed tbh.
Do I need to go to the doctors over this?

sounds like pcos. id see a gp, is also start eating healthier and exercising, you might find it gets better if you lost weight and ate nutritional, balanced meals.

any change in what is normal for you that doesn't have an obvious explanation should be checked.

so yes.

from PCOSAA

“Besides fertility problems, complications include risk for developing insulin resistance and prediabetes/diabetes, abnormal cholesterol, and triglyceride levels, heart disease, stroke, endometrial cancer (cancer of the inner lining of the uterus), obesity, and sleep apnea.”

It could well be pcos. Are you overweight and you lose some you might find that symptoms improve. Eating a low GI diet to reduce sugar spikes should also help.

I wouldn't bother going, either. You're a grown up. You can decide for yourself.

I started a diet a couple of weeks ago which is going well. I'm hoping it will sort me out. I feel fine otherwise. Its very strange! I've never longed for my period so much in all my life.
