First person narrative

I'm sorry but I hate it.

I've been trying to read a book for about a week and I can't get into it because it's written in first person narrative.

I'm trying to persevere as I got it as an ARC to review but I just can't get past it

Oh my word present tense! I think that's maybe why the book is annoying me cause it's present tense and first person 😷.

I can stomach some first person but this one just wasn't happening!

I agree with you regarding present tense. I don't like that at all.
