Actually yes it is fucking U, and you'd have to be pretty ignorant to suggest it. Angry

For those who don't want to click Daily Mail fodder here's another link, although the Daily Mail link includes his twattish apology at the end.

iChange what motive?

I posted as I was angry and felt sick after seeing this printed yesterday, not to mention been led awake for the majority of the night knowing how the assault and then the solicitors words have affected the victim.
I wanted to vent but felt the article was self explanatory.
As I've already said it was more than a bum squeeze, you of course wouldn't know that, however the solicitor was fully aware before making his disgusting comments.

iChangedMyMind

You're not disagreeing. You're making it up to contradict the OP, as you have no such experience.

It makes me think that you have some interest in seeing groping played down.

wibblywobblywoo · 18/01/2018 14:55

He added: 'Being a woman, the chair of the bench took offence

What??!!! Surely he needs to be to brought to book over that little gem as well?

Kittypillar · 18/01/2018 15:03

It's not the OP who looks like a troll.

I second this...

TheEgregiousPeach · 18/01/2018 16:14

ichanged could you please stop minimising assault? Because it's attitudes like yours that encourage such behaviour

Polarbearflavour · 18/01/2018 16:22

I still think about the youth on a bike when I was 19 who grabbed my bum and squeezed it and rode off laughing! Horrible.

LakieLady · 18/01/2018 16:26

When are women's voices going to heard and respected? When will men learn that to dismiss sex crimes is just not acceptable?

This has made me so angry. I hope the solicitor gets struck off.

I still remember having my arse grabbed by some vile creep and it was over 50 years ago.

ThymeLord · 18/01/2018 16:28

Don't let this thread be derailed by a minimiser.

Sexual assault is not something that is forgotten about in a couple of days. It sadly doesn't surprise me that these comments were made by this absolute arse of a solicitor.

I can't help but think that a hand on the buttock as you get out of a swimming pool would be forgotten in 2 or 3 days.

I had a teenager touch my buttock inappropriately several months ago after his group of friends surrounded me in broad daylight.

I'm not actually over it and I was wearing a lot more than just a swimming costume.
