To ask if a deleted post - and a warning - on facebook means one of your facebook friends had reported it

Just that really.

My brother posted a picture on facebook the other day (that he saw on 'lad bible' or something,) that was funny, and a bit cheeky, but not particularly rude.

Approx 36 hours after he posted it, it got deleted. and he got a warning from facebook, saying he would get a ban if anything else like this was posted.

Does this mean someone has reported him? Because I just don't get how the powers-that-be/admin at facebook would even have seen it. His facebook is set to private, and only his 125 friends can see what he posts. So does this mean someone has reported him to facebook?

Thanks in advance for any help. Smile

I've reported an image posted by a FB contact. Actually was a film clip of a gymnast whose leotard malfunctioned, exposing her. I reported the post (it was deleted) and deleted the person from my FB.

I didn't tell them I'd reported it, didn't want to have anything to do with them.

A friend got into trouble on FB when she posted a self portrait of herself naked but for a headscarf and a pair Christian Loubitin (spelling Confused) shoes, having a fag while doing the vacuuming, she is a fashion photographer and looked great but FB objected Shock.

Seems odd it was deleted. I am on an allotment page on Facebook and this time of year every other photo is a carrot or parsnip in the shape of a willy!

SimonBridges · 16/01/2018 18:18

But the thing with that, MrsMarigold, is how do FB know that is her and not being posted without her permission. Also nude pictures are banned, no matter how arty.

That sounds like a bot then, can’t imagine fb getting excited about a potato.

Iamagreyhoundhearmeroar · 16/01/2018 18:22

Facebook was hardly the place for that, Marigold. If she's so keen for everyone to see it, she should get a giant canvas printed and hang it over the fireplace...
Seriously, though Confused. How utterly, cringingly wanky Envy
