So I was in the shop this morning after dropping DD off at school nursery and one of the mums who's DS1 is in my DD class came in after me. Her DS2 was strapped in the pushchair and accidentally dropped his dummy. I went to pick it up but then was called over to be served and as there was a long line forming I went straight to the till as she picked it up. She then shouted "oh for fuck sake you had to drop it over there when I'm this hungover" and people just looked at her. She then proceeded to say "I only stopped drinking at 3am and had to be up with you since half 5 I'm still pissed"
I was completely shocked as we're just about every other customer was in the shop.
I feel so sorry for her DC she's always screaming at them in the school yard too when they're literally just playing.
AIBU to think that you really shouldn't be drinking like, or acting that when you've got two children to look after?! Yes everyone is entitled to a drink if that's what you enjoy but really??? The mind boggles at what those poor children have to put up with at home.

So are you going to do something about it, or just tell MN how awful she is?

You need to tell the school. they will record what happened and it can be referred. They may already have concerns so this will help build a case in order to safe guard the children. Tell the school
