To wonder how you can have £50k of facial surgery and not have some sort of identity crisis?

There’s a girl on Geordie Shore who has had £50k of cosmetic surgery and now looks like a totally different person. I mean it’s a whole new face. It’s got me wondering- I know that it’s gradual and has been done over time but still... I can’t imagine looking in the mirror at a reflection that’s so vastly different from the face I was born and grew up with. By choice. However unhappy she may have been with her appearance beforehand, surely there’s some sort of psychological impact that goes beyond “Yay!! I have big lips now!”??

It's really sad. That's quite astonishing how different they look.

Oldbook on page 2 is so correct.

Women bitching about other women’s looks. You should be ashamed

Oh give over, having a discussion doesn't automatically equate to 'bitching'.

Steff
Yes fake abs. He is modelling himself on the ken doll from Barbie and ken. Except now he’s thinking about transitioning into a woman in his 50’s because he’d rather age as a woman than a saggy old man. 😨

She looked better before the surgery

I don't usually swear but as a mother to a daughter who may be expected to look up to these people.

No amount of silicone can cover up that much wanker.

These "famous" women are awful. I hate that they have a pedestal.

The surgeons who do this are an absolute disgrace, they should be struck off.

Sadly I'm not surprised that young, often vulnerable women do it though. We're raised to believe that being appealing to men is our most important attribute, and we're also given a tick list of what men like:
Big lips
Thin
Big boobs
Small waist
Etc.

It's fucked up.

The girl on the original post had a pretty face before. The after pic looks like she’d been photoshopped by an amateur. How do these things look after a few years?

Arkangel · 11/01/2018 18:30

I was on Instagram earlier and if you go into the search it's just red of photoshopped women in bikinis or makeup laden faces with overly stupid looking plumped lips. No wonder young women feel like this is what they are meant to look like
